The much amped Matt Major, from the Versus Tapout show, suffered his first loss to late replacement Jesse Taylor of Team Quest California. Major, who trains out of the highly regarded American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose was currently undefeated before Taylor. Taylor, self-proclaimed JTMoney beat Major by a relentless ground attack, and by being too much to handle on his feet as well. Major, who has national noteriety off the Tapout show for his agressive, and exciting fighting style and personality couldn't execute his flamboyant fighting style against the tougher Taylor. The up and coming Jesse Taylor took on the much-hyped Matt Major in just a week's notice and proved the tougher man in dominating three five minute rounds for a decision win.
